Reflection on the Eucharistic Reign in the Era of Peace

By Rev. John B. Wang, Ph.D., J.U.D.

At Fatima, our Blessed Mother said, in the end, Her Immaculate Heart will triumph and a Period of Peace will be granted to mankind. Through additional heavenly communications, we now have more knowledge about this promise from the Mother of God. We know it will take place through a special divine intervention, by an extraordinarily powerful action of the Holy Spirit, to regenerate the human race: to make us child-like, innocent and pure, to purify us as gold is refined in fire. This divine action will be a Baptism of Fire, extirpating from the earth and burning, to the root, all evil. It will act like a violent torrent of cleansing waters, washing away filth and sweeping away all iniquity, perversion and evil, all that is false and fake. It will be a strong action of Divine Love, Mercy, and Justice. The end result of this process will be an era of peace, glory, holiness, unity, harmony, soundness, gentleness, joy, truthfulness, and goodness. This will be the fullness of the coming of Gods Kingdom on Earth: a Kingdom of justice, peace, happiness and love, with one flock under one Shepherd. This is the Great Return, the Rebirth, the Call of the Shepherd, the New Pentecost, the Second Advent, or the New Spiritual Springtime, shining with a brilliant light. Together with mankind, all of creation will be renewed. New Heavens will be inside us. Although we will still be on earth, our minds will be in heaven glorifying our Trinitarian Holiness. Our lives will be lived according to the Divine Mind. Our thoughts and words will be in tune with Gods Will, in union with the Most Holy Trinity. As a matter of precaution, lets be aware that this Period of Peace, announced by our Lady at Fatima in 1917, has nothing to do with millenarianism or the Chiliastic belief of the first century.

The main focus of this blessed period is the great triumph of the Eucharistic Reign. Today, in most places, the Eucharistic reign of Jesus is not recognized. Non-Christian worshipers do not adore Jesus. Most Christian denominations have no tabernacle in their churches. In the Catholic Church, our Eucharistic Lord is often relegated to a dark corner, where He is ignored, neglected, and not shown proper respect. At times, the consecrated host is treated as a piece of bread. Holy communion is received with no reverence. There are instances in which the most Holy Eucharist is even trampled, profaned and desecrated! Attempts have been made to suppress the Perpetual Sacrifice. Our Lord Jesus in the Holy Eucharist is grieved, offended, and deeply abused. The Eucharistic King and, therefore, His reign is not duly acknowledged.

When the Triumph of the Twin Hearts comes, the Eucharistic Jesus will be glorified as the center of our life and the summit of all humanity. He will always occupy the central position of the churches, placed on the throne as the King of kings and Lord of the lords to be, loved, adored, worshiped, reverenced, thanked, praised, visited and honored, both privately and publicly. He will be rendered the cult of latria. He will, truly, reign. Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament will be the Spiritual Sun dispersing the darkness of human ignorance and religious errors. There will no atheists, agnostics and heretic dissenters. The Truth will be followed. The Blessed Sacrament will also be a tremendous source of energy transforming us to be like Jesus in humility, meekness, purity and innocence. We will be pure, like a child and like Jesus, who has always retained His child-like purity. The Eucharistic Jesus will abundantly nourish our minds, our souls, and our hearts with many graces and gifts. He will free us from every form of physical, spiritual and moral slavery. As a result of our sound mental health and by the healing power of the Holy Eucharist, even our physical health will be improved with longer life span and less disease. Encounters with our Eucharistic Lord, through Holy Communion, will sustain us in strength, joy and bliss, day after day. There will be an intimate union between Jesus and us and, therefore, between us and the Most Holy Trinity because where Jesus is, there is the Most Holy Trinity, accompanied by all the angels and saints. Is this Heaven on earth? Yes, I think you can say so.

Our Heavenly Father is alarmed at our present sad state. He cannot stand by watching His children perish. He is coming to our rescue. He is coming soon. He will release His Eucharistic power to purify, sanctify, heal, strengthen, illuminate, nourish, guide, unite and bind us. As it is recorded in Deuteronomy 30, 11-14: "For this command which I enjoin on you today is not too mysterious and remote for you. It is not up in the sky, that you should say, Who will go up in the sky to get it for us and tell us of it, that we may carry it out? Nor is it across the sea, that you should say, Who will cross the sea to get it for us and tell us of it, that we may carry it out?No, it is something very near to you, already in your mouths and in your hearts; you have only to carry it out." The appointed time of His special intervention is near so let us heed Revelation 3, 3: "Remember then how you accepted and heard; keep it, and repent. If you are not watchful, I will come like a thief, and you will never know at what hour I will come upon you."
