The Child Jesus in Medjugorje

I often think back to the night in St. Joseph’s when any doubt in my mind was forever dispelled regarding the presence of The Blessed Virgin Mary at St. Joseph’s on Thursday nights. In May 1999 I wrote the following:

After several months of attending the Thursday night Prayer Group something came over me during the silence of the apparition and if I ever had any doubts about if this was real or not as of this night all doubts were totally gone. It was that night ( I do not know the exact date ) that in prayer during the silence of the apparition I told the Blessed Mother this : “There is no human in the history of the world that has had a harder job than what you have had and even now 2000 years later you are still tirelessly working. If there is anything I can do to help I will be willing to do it” It was not long after that unusual things began to happen.

It has been a long, hard road since that night in St. Joseph’s and what I said that night often crosses my mind. I have learned that when you say something like this to The Blessed Mother you had better be prepared to back it up because She just might take you up on it. The only thing that has changed since that night is that my commitment to what I said back then is now stronger than the night I originally said it.

I went to mass at "Parish Church" this morning and at the instant I walked in the church I glanced at my watch and it said XX:XX:13. After mass I went home and decided that I would like to go to the Miraculous Medal novena at St. Joseph’s tonight. I decided that I would leave early so I could spend the day in Emmitsburg since I did not have to go to work because of Martin Luther King’s birthday. At the very instant I decided this I glanced at my watch and the time was 9:33:59. Later in the morning after loosing all track of time I glanced at my watch as I told S.C.C. I was leaving and the time was 11:33:59.

On my way to Emmitsburg I stopped at Wal Mart in Leesburg to return a defective BB gun that C.R.C. got for Christmas. I then continued to Emmitsburg and stopped at St. Joseph’s first. When I arrived the odometer was 13 and I glanced at my watch as I walked in the front door and the time was 2:13. I prayed the Joyful mysteries and during the rosary I remembered the above statement I made to Our Lady in prayer back in 1999. I finished the rosary and felt that special peace and glanced at my watch and the time was 2:33. I glanced at my watch as I walked out the door and it said XX:XX:33.

I then rode to St. Peter’s book store to get Sr. Genevieve a frozen vanilla coffee that she likes so much. I had to stop by Sr. Genevieve’s because S.C.C. gave me some things to take to her. The cost of the coffee was $3.33.

I left St. Peter’s Books (and coffee shop) and while I was driving down Tract Road I saw my friend P.C. at the Missionaries of the Sacred Hearts House of Study scraping ice off of his car from the ice storm they had the night before. I stopped and talked with him for a few minutes. He said today was his first day in the seminary at Mount St. Mary’s He seemed very happy.

I then drove to the nursing home and visited Sr. Genevieve. I gave her the things S.C.C. asked me to give her and the frozen coffee. We talked for a few minutes and when I left I glanced at my watch and the time was 4:13. On my way back I stopped at St. Mary’s because I wanted to pray the Sorrowful rosary. I walked up to the front of the church and knelt down on the kneeler in front of the tabernacle and at that very instant I was again hit with the strong sense of peace. I glanced at my watch and the time was 4:33

I finished the rosary and left St. Mary’s. I still had plenty of time before the Miraculous Medal novena at St. Joseph’s so I rode out to the Grotto of Lourdes and when I arrived the clock on the dash was 5:13. I walked through the Grotto and it was frigid cold. I did not stay as long as I would have liked because part of the Grotto was closed off because of the ice. I got in my truck to leave and the time was 5:33.

I called Jim O’Brien and asked him if he wanted to join me at the Ott House to get something to eat. Jim met me at the restaurant and while we were eating he told me that Fr. Al Pehrsson is being transferred back into the Pennsylvania area sometime in the near future.

We then walked over to St. Joseph’s and while we were waiting for the novena to start I prayed the Glorious rosary. I finished the rosary just as the Miraculous Medal novena started. I glanced at my watch and it said XX:XX:13 (7:30:13).

When everything was over I got in my truck to drive home and at the very instant I started the truck the clock on the dash switched to 8:13. I arrived home and walked in the bedroom to tell S.C.C. I was home and the clock next to the bed said 10:33.

I then walked downstairs to get my email and the time on the computer was 10:33. It was at that time I received the Children of Medjugorje report that described what happened while we were in Medjugorje. I thank God for allowing us to be there for this event.

I think people need to reconsider and think about what Our Lady of Emmitsburg has been saying about the Child Jesus.
