The day started off this morning when I woke up and looked over at the clock next to the bed and the time was 7:13. I did not go to mass at "Parish Church" this morning because I was planning on taking my Confederate uniform to Gettysburg so a Civil War dealer I know could sell it in his shop on consignment. Because of this I would be able to go to the noon mass at the Grotto of Lourdes in Emmitsburg. S.C.C. helped me put the uniform in the truck and when I started it to leave the time on the dash was 9:13.

It was raining pretty hard when I left "hometown" and it continued to rain almost the entire day. While driving to Emmitsburg I was bothered by another sin that just seems to continue to cause problems for me. I decided that I wanted to go to confession before going to Holy Communion. I drove to the Grotto because I knew Fr. Jack Lombardi would be there. When I arrived at the Grotto the time on the dash was 11:33.

I walked in the glass chapel looking for Fr. Jack but I did not see him. I started walking through the Grotto and I saw him walking towards me. He stopped to say hello and I told him I would like to go to confession. I thought we would walk in the chapel or something but he heard my confession standing there in the pouring rain. For my penance he told me to read “Daniel chapter 13”. He gave me absolution and at that very instant the peace hit me very hard. I glanced at my watch and it said XX:XX:13.

Just before the 12 noon mass started Fr. Jack walked up to me and asked me to do the 1st reading. After mass Fr. Jack led the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and that was followed by a blessing invoking the intersession of St. Mary Magdaline. When that was over I drove to St. Joseph’s and arrived and walked in the front door at 1:13.

I prayed the Glorious rosary and I prayed for Cecelia C. Cecelia has been to St. Joseph’s many times on Thursday Nights and Our Lady has appeared twice while she was leading the rosary. Despite Cecelia’s continued misfortune the latest of which was this past Saturday when her car burned up I know Our Lady of Emmitsburg continues to assist her because every time I need to go to her assistance it is always 13 or 33 after the hour.

When I finished the rosary I left to go to Gettysburg to take the uniform. When I pulled out from St. Joseph’s I glanced at my watch and it said XX:XX:33. I arrived in Gettysburg and gave the uniform to Wes Small at the Horse Soldier Civil War Shop and he is going to sell it for me. When I finished there I drove back to St. Joseph’s on my way home to pray another rosary. When I finished the rosary I looked at my watch as I walked out the door and the time was 3:13:00

I did not stay for the Miraculous Medal Novena at 7:30 because one of my aunt’s from Norfolk was going to be at my mothers house and we were supposed to eat dinner there. I drove to my mothers house and arrived there for dinner at 6:13.

While we were eating S.C.C. told me that she had talked to Cecelia and she needed some items she left in my truck the day her car burned up. After we finished eating I drove the bag of stuff she had left in my truck to her house and I gave them to her. I then drove home after a very long day and when I pulled in my driveway the odometer was 33.
