New Car

There was no mass this morning at "Parish Church" so I drove to Our Lady of the Blue Ridge. I had the sudden feeling this was going to be another one of those special days when I started the truck and the time on the dash was 7:33.

I arrived and just at I walked in the church I glanced at my watch and it said XX:XX:13. After mass I stayed for a little while because of Wednesday adoration and to pray the rosary. At the very instant I started the rosary I felt the sudden surge of peace so I glanced at my watch and it said XX:XX:33.

A few minutes later I had a very strong, sudden and vivid memory of Bob Gray. It caused me to want to pray for him. It was so strong I glanced at my watch and it said XX:XX:33. While I was remembering Bob in my rosary a shaft of bluish light surrounded the monstrance. When it dimmed I knew to look at my watch and the time was 8:33.

I finished the rosary and drove back to "hometown" to go to work. When I arrived the odometer was 1.3 and the time was 9:13. Later in the morning I had a little free time so I got my journal out and wrote what had happened so far today and at the very instant I finished writing the peace hit me and I looked at my watch and the time was 11:13.

I went to lunch with my co-worker Carrol R and waited for him to finish eating before I left to finish my lunch break at Our Lady of the Blue Ridge because of Wednesday Adoration. When Carrol got up to leave I got up to go back to Our Lady of the Blue Ridge. I glanced at my watch and the time was 12:13:13. I drove there and arrived at 12:33.

I walked in the church and glanced at my watch at the very instant I started the rosary and it said XX:XX:13. I prayed the Sorrowful and Glorious mysteries. During the rosary I again asked God to help me with what I am going through and expressed my willingness to continue if it is His Will. I glanced at my watch at the very instant I finished and the time was 1:13. I drove back to work and arrived at 1:33.

Later in the afternoon while working I had a very strong and sudden desire to go to Emmitsburg when I get off work. I also wanted to stop at the Toyota dealership in Frederick to look at cars that get very, very good gas mileage for my upcoming daily commute to Manassas and sometimes "hometown". I looked at my watch and the time was 3:13.

When I got off work I left for Emmitsburg, on the way I stopped in Frederick and looked at Toyota Corollas. I considered my upcoming commute and the mechanical problems that my truck was developing. I traded the truck on the Toyota.

I drove the new car to Emmitsburg and arrived at St. Joseph’s and started the rosary at 10:33. I finished the rosary at 11:13. I drove home and pulled in my driveway and the odometer on the new car was 33.
