Feast Of The Sacred Heart of Jesus

On June 7/8, 2002 I saw The Face of Jesus Christ in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Emmitsburg, Maryland. This occurred on the Feast of The Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Feast of The Sacred Heart of Jesus. It was also First Friday/Saturday. Because of this event and many others it is totally impossible for me to ever doubt the validity of the apparitions of The Blessed Virgin Mary to Gianna Sullivan at St. Joseph’s in Emmitsburg. Doubt does not exist for me. Knowledge of the truth does.

I was in Emmitsburg for the 2nd anniversary of this event on First Friday/Saturday June 4th & 5th and again on June 7 for the Miraculous Medal novena. I did not have any plans on going tonight because of the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus but that changed and I did go.

I started the day by attending daily mass at "Parish Church" and I ended up being Eucharistic minister, after mass I went to work in "hometown". Later in the day I took my lunch break and drove to Our Lady of the Blue Ridge to pray the rosary. Like always I did not pay any attention to the time when I left. I arrived and the time was 12:13. I prayed the Sorrowful rosary and when I finished I looked at my watch and the time was 12:33.

I returned to work and just at the very instant I completed a work related task I was struck with a strong feeling of peace. I recognized it instantly and glanced at my watch and the time was 1:13:59.

A little later I came to a good breaking point in my work. I wanted to make a copy of my entire set of Emmitsburg papers I have written just for safe keeping. I put the first stack of papers in the copy machine and pressed the start button. At that instant I was again struck with the strong feeling of peace. I glanced at my watch and it said 1:33. I then noticed the incorrect time on the copy machine and it said 1:13.

Later when there was another pause in my workload I made a copy of the next part of my papers. Again I pressed the start button and again the peace hit me. I glanced at my watch and the time was 2:33:33 and the incorrect time on the copy machine was 2:13.

I was very busy the rest of the day and as the day progressed my desire to ride to Emmitsburg increased especially because of the high number of instances of being struck out of nowhere with the peace that just continues to hit me without warning at the times that it does. When I got off work and was pulling out of the SWIFT parking lot the very strong desire to go to Emmitsburg struck very hard. I knew to glance at my watch and the time was 6:13:33.

I considered leaving straight from work but I knew I could not do that because S.C.C. had fixed dinner. I drove home and ate and after dinner the feeling hit me again and very hard. I knew to glance at my watch and it said XX:XX:33. I did a few things I needed to do and told S.C.C. that I was going to go.

I left for Emmitsburg and arrived at St. Joseph’s at 10:33. I completed the rosary by praying the Joyful, Glorious and Luminous mysteries as I walked around the church. When I finished I got in my car to leave and when I started it the time on the dash was 11:13. I drove home and glanced at my watch as I walked in the front door and the time was 1:33.
