Roses

The move to the Emmitsburg area has been a lot of work and I am very relived now that the worst part of it is behind us. I feel a very strong sense of peace living here. I do not doubt for one second that moving here was the right thing to do. The help and cooperation we received from our Thursday night friends and now neighbors was unbelievable.

When I woke up this morning I looked over at the clock next to the bed and the time was 6:13. I took the day off from work to catch up on some of the things that still needed to be done from our move. There were many times throughout the day while I was doing things around the house that I would be hit very suddenly with a thought about Jesus or Mary. When this happened I would glance at my watch and it would say XX:XX:13 or 33.

Later in the evening after I finished all the work I was going to do I got in my car and rode to Waynesboro, PA which is about 10 miles from here. I wanted to ride there just to see what it looked like. While I was driving I listened to a CD about contraception that Dr. Joe Ferguson gave me. It was the best reasoning against contraception I have ever heard.

I was almost home when I decided that I was going to stop at the store and get some beer and have one out on my deck. I stopped at a store near our house but they did not sell it. I then rode to Ventura’s Restaurant and picked it up. I then started thinking about the fact that I had not yet prayed my daily rosary and I actually considered skipping a day.

I was walking through the parking lot towards my car when I was suddenly stopped dead in my tracks by a sudden blast of roses. It instantly made me change my mind and want to pray the rosary. I glanced at my watch and it said XX:XX:33.

I got in my car and went straight to St. Joseph’s when I arrived I glanced at my watch and it said XX:XX:33. I sat in the car and prayed the Joyful rosary. When I finished I started the car to leave and the time was 10:13 and the contraception CD flashed track 13.
