Our Lady of Emmitsburg Never Ceases to Amaze Me

Monday October 24, 2005

I will never forget the night I was in St. Joseph’s during the apparition of Our Lady to Gianna Sullivan and the last doubt regarding the apparitions I ever had was gone. I now realize that the elimination of that last doubt was a grace because it is something I would not have been able to eliminate on my own. I also realize it would be impossible for me to report what I have experienced over the past 7 years if there was any doubt whatsoever about what I have written. If doubt existed, I would not be able to do this.

Over the years I have written about many experiences that I am 100% sure were orchestrated by Jesus, Mary or Both. I am also 100% sure all of this originated because of the apparitions of Our Lady at St. Joseph’s in Emmitsburg. Since I have only reported these events and not caused them I am constantly amazed even after all these years. It is a large part of what gives me the strength to continue.

Today was really not that much different than any other day but I have decided to write this paper because of the very unusual way that the numbers 333 and 13 were presented to me today.

When I left the house this morning to go to work I stopped by St. Joseph’s to say a few prayers. When I finished the prayers I left and drove to Manassas to go to work. When I arrived in Manassas I did not go to mass at All Saint’s because I was planning on going tonight at St. Joseph’s after the Miraculous Medal Novena. I drove straight to work and when I arrived and the car came to a complete stop I felt the peace and glanced at my watch and it said XX:XX:13.

I was extremely busy at work. Sometimes I am so busy I have a hard time finding time to even take a restroom break. At the point where the work slowed down I took my lunch break to go pray the rosary at All Saint’s. When I started the car to leave the time on the dash was 12:33. I arrived and prayed two mysteries of the rosary and finished at 1:13.

I then returned to work and the rest of the afternoon was fairly slow. When I got off later that afternoon I was going to go straight home but just as I was pulling out of SWIFT’s parking lot the sudden and unmistakable urge struck me to stop at All Saint’s and pray another rosary. It was so strong I glanced down and the odometer was 1.3.

I arrived at All Saint’s and glanced at my watch as I walked in the chapel and it said XX:XX:33. It was at that instant I was awestruck at what I saw immediately upon entering the chapel. I could see the hymn board in the main part of the church through the glass doors. The Paschal Candle was standing in front of the hymn board. Part of the hymn board was obscured because of the candle. All I could see was 333 to the left of the candle and 13 on the right of the candle. It looked like this 333| |13. It caught me by such surprise and caused a tremendous amount of peace and strength. I then knelt down in the pew to pray the Glorious Mysteries of the rosary and glanced at my watch at the instant I started and the time was 5:13.

Just at the instant I completed the rosary Fr. Stephen Holm’s came in and opened the tabernacle to return host. It was at the instant I finished the rosary and the time was 5:33.

I then left and drove home to Emmitsburg and went to St. Joseph’s for the Miraculous Medal Novena and mass. I arrived and looked at my watch as I walked in the church and the time was 7:33. Fr. O’Malley was the priest and when everything was over I got in my car to leave and when I started it the time on the dash was 8:13.
