Public Apparition of Our Lady of Emmitsburg

November 5, 2006

Normally I write the papers which describe the 1st Sunday public apparition of Our Lady of Emmitsburg to include the First Friday and Saturday which usually (not always) lead up to the 1st Sunday apparition of Our Lady. I am not going to do that this month because of the number of papers I have already written this month. However, if I did cover the First Friday and Saturday it would read very much like usual.

I was tired last night and went to bed fairly early. When I woke up this morning the very first thing that ran through my mind was to get up and write the October 27-30 paper about Fr. Al Pehrsson’s CD testimony. I never looked at the clock until I was getting out of bed and as I was doing so the clock switched to 5:33.

I thought about today being my fathers 77th birthday and went downstairs to write the paper about Fr. Al’s testimony. After many interruptions and S.C.C. calling me to come in and eat breakfast with the family I completed the paper and glanced at my watch and the time was 9:33:13.

S.C.C., C.R.C. and myself then got ready and went to the 10:30 mass at St. Mary’s. We arrived and the church was packed. We did not see any available seats and so we stood at the back of the church. A usher came up to us and found us a seat. We took our seats and it was at that instant I noticed the time was 10:33.

Fr. Mike Messaro was the priest and he was assisted by Deacon Peter Zorjan who will be ordained a priest this coming May 27th. Mass ended and as I pulled out the CD flashed 13.

We drove home and S.C.C. said she needed to go to Wal Mart and she would meet me at the Lynfield Event Complex for today’s apparition of Our Lady. Later I left to go to St. Peter’s so I could help Peter Blanchard set things up at the Lynfield. On the way I stopped briefly at St. Joseph’s to say a few prayers and as I arrived I glanced at my watch and it said XX:XX:33 and the CD flashed 33.

I sat out in the car and prayed for a few minutes before going to St. Peter’s to meet up with Peter. I arrived and a few minutes later Ray Sanders arrived and he rode to the Lynfield with me. We arrived early to set up for today’s public apparition and the odometer was 13 and just as the car came to a complete stop the CD flashed 13.

Peter Blanchard, Wayne Warthen and myself set up the video equipment so the apparition could be televised to the overflow room next door. We finished and a little later Mike Sullivan made an announcement to the crowd that Fr. Kieran Kavanaugh O.C.D was on his way but was running a little late and because of that we would start a little late. When the prayer group began Mike Sullivan started off by invoking the Trinity. I glanced at my watch and the time was 3:13:33.

Mike made a lot of announcements and told people they could have a CD copy of Fr. Al Pehrsson’s testimony as they were leaving today. During Mike’s announcements he mentioned that the number of hits on the Foundation website had increased 33% over the past month. When Mike said that I glanced at my watch and the time was 3:33.

The rosary began a few minutes later. S.C.C. and I sat in the overflow room and watched everything on the projection TV. Our Lady appeared to Gianna at the very end of the 4th decade and the time was 4:02. Our Lady spoke to Gianna for what seemed like a long time today. Because we were watching on the closed circuit TV which was pointed directly at Gianna we could see everything. The apparition ended and at the instant Our Lady departed I glanced at my watch and the time was 4:13:00.

After the rosary the prayers continued with Jim O’Brien and Sherry M singing the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. When everything was over and people were leaving I handed out copies of Fr. Al’s testimony to them. It was a good crowd but a few less than past months. After everyone had left we cleaned up and left. As I pulled out the CD flashed 13.

I drove back to Emmitsburg and stopped at St. Joseph’s and just as the car came to a complete stop the CD flashed 033. I walked up to the corner of the church and kissed it and felt the peace. I glanced at my watch and the time was 6:13. I went back to the car and prayed the Glorious mysteries of the rosary and looked at my watch at the instant I finished and the time was 6:33.
