Fr. Rene Laurentin has long been a vocal supporter of the apparitions of Our Lady in Emmitsburg. He has continually come to Gianna Sullivan’s defense on numerous occasions. His expert opinions are continually ignored by those who do not support the apparitions of Our Lady in Emmitsburg, Medjugorje or anywhere else in the world for that matter.
This does not change the fact that through out the word he is considered the leading expert on Marian apparitions. He knows what to look for in a reported apparition to determine its value or lack of value. In the cases of both Medjugorje and Emmitsburg he gives his personal stamp of approval.
S.C.C. and I went to "hometown" for Thanksgiving. C.R.C. went to Lafayette, Louisiana with the Ferguson’s. We stopped at St. Joseph’s on the way and just as we arrived I noticed a parked car in front of the church with the license plate of 33.
After saying a few prayers S.C.C. and I left to go to "hometown". We arrived and I dropped S.C.C. off at her mothers house. I then stopped by "Parish Church" to drop off the latest pack of papers. The door was locked so I just slid them through the crack in the door. I got back in my car to leave and at that instant the CD track number flashed 13.
I rode back to S.C.C.’s mothers house and picked both of them up to go to my sister Barbara’s house for Thanksgiving dinner. After dinner I was scheduled to go metal detecting with Weiland Johnson who is one of my old Civil War relic hunting friends.
As I was getting ready to leave my mother stopped me and gave me a news paper clipping she had cut out from the Arlington Catholic Herald about Fr. Rene Laurentin. The article was titled “French Priest Criticizes Church Attitude toward Marian Apparitions”. I read the short article and started my car to leave so I could pick up my friend Weiland. The time on the dash when I started the car was 2:13.
I went digging with Weiland and I found a Civil War breast plate. I returned back to my sisters house and we left to go back to Emmitsburg. We started the car and the time on the dash was 7:13. We arrived back at St. Joseph’s and the same car was still parked there with the license plate of 33.
