PROPHECY OF OUR LADY OF LA SALETTE

SEPTEMBER 19, 1846

"If my people do wish to submit themselves, I am forced to let go of the hand of My Son. It is so heavy and weighs me down that I can no longer keep hold of it...I make an urgent appeal to the earth...The Church will be in eclipse, the world will be in dismay...Woe to the inhabitants of the earth!...The fire of Heaven will fall...All the universe will be struck with terror and many will let themselves be led astray because they have not worshipped the true Christ...he, the king of kings of darkness, will have plunged with all his followers into the everlasting chasms of hell. And then water and fire will purge the earth and consume all the works of mens' pride and all will be renewed. God will be served and glorified."

PROPHECY OF THE LADY OF AKITA

" As I told you, if men do not repent and better themselves the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one will never have seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate, that they will envy the dead. The only arms which remain for you will be the Rosary and the Sign (the Cross) left by my Son. Each day recite the prayers of the Rosary. With the Rosary pray for the Pope, the bishops, and the priests.

Our Lady of All Nations:

"The world is tottering...a few more years and it would perish" (August 29, 1945). "The powers of hell will break lose" (December 3, 1953).

Our Lady of Akita:

"The heavenly Father is preparing to inflict a great chastisement on all mankind" (August 3, 1973). "The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church..." (October 13, 1973).

Our Lady of La Salette:

"The Church passes into darkness. The world will be in a state of consternation...Woe to the inhabitants of the earth" (September 19, 1846)!

Our Lady of Fatima:

"The good will by martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, various nations will be annihilated" if our Mother's requests are not heeded (July 13, 1917).

Let us do what Our Lord and our Mother ask of us:

1) Be renewed in Jesus Christ. Make the cross the center of your world. Entrust yourself to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

2) Perservere in saying the Rosary

3) Say the Prayer of Amsterdam which is the powerful invocation to the Holy Spirit often. This might very well be the same prayer that was given to St. Bernadette to say secretly until the day she died. Remember this prayer was given to us on the feast day of Our Lady of Lourdes!

4) Receive Our Lord in the Most Holy Eucharist often.

5) Make sacrifices for love of God and neighbor. Offer them for the reparation of sin and the conversion of sinners.

6) Pray for the Church, the Pope, and the priests. Pray for more holy vocations.

7) Rally and unite in the name of the Lady or Mother of All Nations. Spread Her messages.

8) Sign the petition to Pope John Paul II which our Mother gave to us on May 10, 1953, which was Mother's Day, asking him to pronounce Her dogma conjoined to Her title as "The Mother of All Nations: Co-redemptrix, Mediatrix and Advocate". (For your convenience this web site has our Mother's petition with a submission form which you can send to the Pope via a secured route.)

9) Have confidence in our Mother's love. She sets the example of standing before the Cross of her Son. "The powers of hell may break lose" but remember "they will not prevail against [her]"! (Lady of All Nations, December 3, 1953). "In the end [her] Immaculate Heart will triumph" (Our Lady of Fatima, July 13, 1917). Through the Woman, our Mother, He, our Lord Jesus Christ, "will put enimity...and strike at his head" (Genesis 3:15)!

OCTOBER 13, 1917

THE MIRACLE OF THE SUN

The crowd which came to Fatima on this date was enormous, estimated at 100,000. Lucia's family , especially her mother, was apprehensive, fearing that this would be the last day of the child's life; that she would be killed by the crowd if no miracle occurred. The Marto household, Jacinta and Francisco's family, was supportive of their children. It was pouring rain that day as well. Lucia recounts from her memoires:

We left home quite early, expecting that we would be delayed along the way. Masses of people thronged the roards. The rain fell in torrents. My mother, her heart torn with uncertainty as to what was going to happen , and fearing it would be the last day of my life, wanted to accompany me.

On the way the scenes of the previous month, still more numerous and moving, were repeated. Not even the muddy roads could prevent these people from kneeling in the most humble and suppliant of attitudes. We reached the holmoak in the Cova da Iria.

Once there, moved by an interior impulse. I asked the people to shut their umbrellas and say the rosary. A little later, we saw the flash of light, and then Our Lady appeared on the holmoak.

"What do you want of me?"

" I want to tell you that a chapel is to be built here in my honor. I am the Lady of the rosary. Continue always to pray the rosary every day. The war is going to end, and the soldiers will soon return to their homes."

"I have many things to ask you: the cure of some sick persons, the conversion of sinners, and other things..."

"Some yes, but not others. They must amend their lives and ask forgiveness for their sins."

Looking very sad, Our Lady said:

" Do not offend the Lord Our God any more, because He is already so much offended."

Then opening her hands she made them reflect on the sun, and as she ascended, the reflection of her own light continued to be projected on the sun itself.

Here, Your Excellency, is the reason why I cried out to the people to look at the sun. My aim was not to call their attention to the sun, because I was not even aware of their presence. I was moved to do so under the guidance of an interior impulse.

After Our Lady had disappeared into the immense distance of the firmament, we beheld St. Joseph and the Child Jesus and Our Lady robed in white with a blue mantle, beside the sun. St. Joseph and the Child Jesus appeared to bless the world, for they traced the Sign of the Cross with their hands. When, a little later, this apparition disappeared, I saw Our Lord and Our Lady; it seemed to me that it was Our Lady of Sorrows (Dolors). Our Lord appeared to bless the world in the same manner as St. Joseph had done. This apparition vanished, and I saw Our Lady once more, this time resembling Our Lady of Carmel.

When Lucia cried out, "Look at the sun!", the people looked up. There are innumerable accounts of the miracle of the sun by the witnesses to this event. There were nearly 70 - 100, 000 people present at Fatima that day. Some of the accounts of the miracle are from individuals who were as far away from the site as 70 miles. The miracle was witnessed by both believers and nonbelievers alike. It had been raining in torrents and when the sun broke through the clouds people were able to look directly at it without shielding their eyes as would be normal. The sun did not remain stationery; it began to spin around on its own axis, like a coin made to spin on its edge. It then seemed to whirl madly about the sky. A great cry of anguish went up from the crowd because the sun then seemed to be hurling itself towards the earth as if it would collide with earth. It was a terrible feeling for those present. When people looked at each other during these events they noticed that the objects on the earth, including themselves, were changing into different colors amethyst, purple, yellow, blue. One must remember that it had been raining in torrents, the ground and foliage were drenched, as well as the clothes of many people. After the sun stopped its dance, the earth, the trees and plants, the clothes of the people, which minutes before had been soaked, were all bone dry.

GARABANDAL

In addition, the visionaries (of Garabandal) claimed that they were given a series of frightening warnings about the future. Each of the girls stated that Mary told them about a series of four extraordinary events which would reflect God's concern for the state to which humanity had fallen. These events were reported to be:

Conchita has stated, "The Warning, like the Chastisement, is a fearful thing for the good as well as the wicked. It will draw the good closer to God and warn the wicked that the end of times are coming." In describing the warning, Jacinta has said, "The Warning is something that is seen in the air, everywhere in the world and is immediately transmitted into the interior of our souls. It will last a very little time, but it will seem a very long time because of its effect within us." Conchita has stated that she has been given the date of the Miracle by the Blessed Virgin and will announce the date eight days before it is to occur. Since the Miracle will occur after the Warning, it is highly likely that both the Warning and Miracle will occur within the next thirty years given Conchita's present age (45 years) if this apparition is determined to be a valid one.

In describing the Warning, Conchita stated, "it would be like fire. It will not burn our flesh but we will feel it bodily and interiorly." It seems to be an astronomical phenomena, "like two stars...that crash and make a lot of noise, and a lot of light...but they don't fall. It's not going to hurt us but we're going to see it and, in that moment, we're going to see our consciences." In addition to these events, Conchita has stated that she was told by the Blessed Virgin in 1962 that after the death of Pope John XXIII "there would be two more popes after Pope Paul VI and that one of the popes would have a very short reign. After that would come the end times but not the end of the world." If Conchita has interpreted this vision of Mary correctly, then Pope John Paul II is the last of the popes before the end times begin.

Clearly, the messages at Garabandal, if they are really a message from Heaven, bring the prophecies of the Apocalypse very close to fruition. If Garabandal is to be believed then it is highly likely that the events foretold two thousand years ago and repeated with increasing intensity in the twentieth century will occur within the lifetime of most people reading this text. Indeed, several prophecies point to these events coming to pass within the next five years!

Medjugorje

The ten secrets of Medjugorje appear to be a continuation of the Fatima Secrets and are similar in general character to the secrets described at Garabandal.

In 1982, the Church established a commission to begin to evaluate the occurrences at Medjugorje. As part of the initial report, Father Tomislav Vlasic, the local pastor, sent the Pope and the Bishop of Mostar a letter detailing what little information is available about the secrets. In the letter he states:

"According to Mirjana, during the apparition on December 25, 1982, the Madonna confided the tenth and last secret to her, and she revealed the dates on which the various secrets will come to pass. The Blessed Virgin revealed many aspects of the future to Mirjana, many more up to now than to the other seers.

A further clarification of the character of the initial secrets came from a series of interviews conducted by Janice Connell several years after Father Tomislav's report. In her interview with Marijana, she asked for any additional information about the secrets that Marijana was permitted to disclose. Marijana responded:

"The first two secrets will be warnings to the world - events that will occur before a visible sign is given to humanity. These will happen in my lifetime. Ten days before the first secret and the second secret, I will notify Father Petar Ljubicic. He will pray and fast for seven days, and then he will announce these to the world."

When pressed to give additional details, Mirjana stated:

The message of Medjugorje has the same components as the earlier messages at Fatima, Garabandal and a number of previous Marian apparitions. The local Church's commission on the apparitions has yet to make a final determination on the events at Medjugorje. The strong and personal disagreements between the local Bishop and the local Franciscans ministering to the parish at the time of the initial apparitions combined with the outbreak of the civil war has made a full and fair evaluation of the events there quite difficult. The clerical disagreements appear to be related to the potent influence the Franciscans had when acting as spiritual counselors to the "visionaries". The local Bishop, Msgr. Zanic, thought the Franciscans were publicizing the events at Medjugorje much too quickly and too rapidly to properly evaluate and analyze what was happening there. The preliminary Church statement, finally issued in January, 1991 stated:

" The supernatural characteristic (in the miraculous sense) is not established, but it is not excluded either; the Episcopal Commission continues its work to get a decision, a decision the bishops do not want judged prematurely. The pilgrimage, of national and international dimension, is the bishops' responsibility."

The message of Mary at Medjugorje is one of peace and acceptance - acceptance of the will of God, acceptance of whatever suffering that may come as humanity moves closer to a self-induced catastrophe, acceptance of Mary's role as our loving Mother, and acceptance of God's desire for us to renew our faith in Him through prayer, conversion, fasting and love. If we convert ourselves with the help of God's graces, then and only then will we will be able to achieve peace in our hearts, peace in our families, peace between neighbors and peace between nations.
