The 100th Anniversary of Fatima is a Major Day for Our Lady in Emmitsburg!
October 13, 2017
Today is a major day for the apparitions of Our Lady in Emmitsburg, Maryland. I am overjoyed to have been there over the years and witnessed this major event in Salvation History. I am also at the same time heartbroken because of the rejection Our Lady received by so many people. Actually I can understand peoples unbelief and I have to admit that I might be one of them if it not for the spiritual gifts that I know I have received and described in these papers as a result of being there. I received none of them by my own merit. Because of this I have no other choice but to believe. It is impossible for me to do otherwise.
I accept the burden and sadness that comes with knowing Our Lady’s presence is genuine and witnessing so many people reject it. I realize that the closer you are to such things as this the more you are going to suffer because it hurts to hear people reject what you know to be the truth. My response is to write these papers as a truthful account of the events in Emmitsburg and I will continue to do so.
Over the years since I started attending the Thursday Night Prayer Group in Emmitsburg there has always been a rosary procession in honor of Our Lady of Fatima on both the 13th of May and the 13th of October. Rain or shine you could count on people showing up for this procession and on May 11, 2000 Our Lady of Emmitsburg said this:
“What commenced in Fatima with my three little children will continue now and come to fruition here at the Center of My Immaculate Heart.”
The Fatima rosary processions predate this message from Our Lady. Today is the 100th anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun at Fatima and it was a very special day in Emmitsburg as God performed a miracle that can only be interpreted as a sign of validation for the apparitions of His Mother in Emmitsburg as I will now describe the events of the day.
This year the rosary procession will take place at the Grotto of Lourdes in Emmitsburg for the first time that I am aware of. It starts at 5pm and will be followed by mass at 5:30. Earlier in the week I received a phone call from both Raymond Sanders and Brother Paschal O’Brien asking if I could pick them up to go to the rosary procession. I told both of them that I could and would pick them up in time to go get a bite to eat. I told them that I would call them when I arrived most likely around 3 PM.
That morning before leaving for Emmitsburg I sat down of the sofa down stairs and there was a copy of Fr. Stefano Gobbi’s messages from Our Lady sitting there “To The Priests Our Lady’s Beloved Sons”. I thought about looking up a message from October 13th of any year and reading it. I then decided that I would not do that. I prayed a short prayer and randomly opened the book to read whatever message I landed on. Against all odds I landed directly on the message Our Lady gave Fr. Gobbi on October 13, 1985! With that I knew today was going to be very special. Special enough that I feel including that message in this paper is needed.
The Two Cohorts
Fatima Portugal, October 13,1985
“From here, where I appeared as the Woman Clothed with the Sun, I am calling all of you to gather together about your heavenly Leader.
These are the times of the great battle between me and the powerful cohort which is under the orders of the Red Dragon and the Black Beast. Marxist atheism and Masonry are guiding this army, which has been mustered to lead all humanity to the denial of God and to rebellion against Him.
At its head is Lucifer himself, who is repeating today his act of defiance in placing himself against God to make himself adored as God. With him are fighting all the demons who are, in these times, being poured out from hell upon the earth, in order to lead the greatest possible number of souls to perdition.
United with them are all the souls of the damned and those who, in this life, are walking in rejection of God, whom they offend and blaspheme, as they walk along the road of egoism and hatred, of evil and impurity. They make their one and only aim the quest for pleasures; they satisfy all their passions; they fight for the triumph of hatred, of evil, and of impiety.
The cohort which I myself am leading is made up of all the angels and saints of paradise, guided by Saint Michael the Arch-angel, who is head of all the heavenly militia.
This is a great battle which is being waged above all at the level of spirits.
On this earth, my cohort is made up of all those who live by loving and glorifying God, according to the grace received in holy Baptism, and who are walking along the sure road of perfect observance of the commandments of the Lord. They are humble, docile, little and charitable; they flee from the snares of the demon and from the easy seductions of pleasure; they journey along the way of love, of purity, and of holiness. This cohort of mine is made up of all my little children who, in every part of the world, are answering me today with a yes and are following me along the road which, in these years, I have traced out for you.
It is with my cohort that I am bringing on my victory in these times. It is with my cohort that I am building up, each day, the triumph of my Immaculate Heart. It is with my cohort that I am preparing the way along which the glorious reign of Jesus will come to you, and it will be a reign of love and of grace, of holiness, justice, and of peace.
From this place where I appeared, I repeat to you again today my motherly appeal: join together, all of you, as quickly as possible in this my cohort! The hour of the great battle has already arrived. Fight with the weapon of the holy rosary, and walk along the way of love for Jesus, of contempt for the world and for yourselves, of humility, of charity, of simplicity, of purity. Then you will be ready to bear the great trials which will soon begin for the Church and for humanity.
From this blessed place, with my Pope and with my beloved ones and the children consecrated to me. I bless you all in name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.”
Later in the morning without regard to the time I left my house to go to Emmitsburg. I figured I would leave earlier than I planned and just have the day there to enjoy at a leisurely pace. I pulled out of my driveway and suddenly an oncoming car met me with the license plate of 13.
I was past Warrenton when a news report came on WTOP about China being years ahead of the United States in regard to a “cashless society”. This made me stop and think about the times Our Lady of Emmitsburg brought up this topic in some of Her earlier messages. When the news report ended the radio announcer said “Today is Friday the 13th and the time is 12:13.”
An hour later I was in Frederick, Maryland and while I was driving I had a very sudden thought with vivid clarity of C.R.C. becoming a priest. In this sudden, unexpected thought C.R.C. was with the priest of the _______________________. C.R.C. recently had dinner with Fr. M.M and several of the other priest of that order. It was so strong, clear, and sudden I glanced at my watch and the time was 1:13:59.
A split second later my phone rang and it was C.R.C. saying he would meet me at the Grotto this evening after he got off work for the Fatima rosary procession. About a half hour later I arrived at the Grotto and parked and when I did the odometer was 3.3 I got out of the car and instantly noticed the car parked in front of me had the license plate of 13.
I walked through the Grotto stopping here and there to say a prayer and there was a light mist of rain the whole time. When I arrived at the statue of Our Lady of Fatima a woman was there praying and I decided that I would wait for her to finish and then I would go up. A few minutes later she left and I walked up and started the Glorious mysteries of the rosary for C.R.C.. I glanced at my watch and the time was 2:13 I glanced at my watch as I finished the rosary and the time then was 2:33:13.
I then left the Grotto and went to pick up Raymond Sanders and take him to lunch, somehow it slipped my mind that I had also said something to Brother Paschal about getting something to eat. Raymond and I went to Subway and ate lunch. After we already ate my phone rang and it was Brother Paschal asking when we were going to get something to eat. I did not want to tell him that we already ate so I told him we would be there in a few minutes and we could go to The Palms restaurant. On the way to pick up Brother Paschal we arrived at St. Josephs and the time was 3:33.
After leaving St. Joseph’s Raymond and I drove the 3 or 4 blocks to pick up Brother Paschal and agreed not to mention that we already ate lunch. We all went into the Palms and I had a bowl of crab soup while Brother Paschal ate his sandwich. When Brother Paschal finished eating we got back in my car and I drove back to the Grotto. We arrived and it was then I noticed the time was 4:33.
People started showing up for the Fatima Rosary Procession. I am not sure how many people came but it was a pretty good crowd of people. The procession was being led by Fr. Patrick Russell, MFVA. While we were waiting for the procession to start Dr. Michael Sullivan told me about something that happened to Fr. Al Pehrsson CM today at the Miraculous Medal Shrine in Philadelphia which is where he now lives in retirement.
Fr. Al Pehrsson CM was the pastor of St. Joseph’s in Emmitsburg at the time of the apparitions. Fr. Al has never wavered in his belief of the apparitions. Fr. Al has stood firm and despite the grief he has received from the arch dioceses and brother priest he has remained firm with his support of the apparitions of Our Lady of Emmitsburg. Fr. Al has suffered greatly as a result. But TODAY on the 100th anniversary of Fatima Fr. Al also received a miracle from God. After mass at the shrine today Fr. Al and several other priest prayed the rosary. Fr. Al’s rosary has two crucifix’s on it. Both are silver. During the rosary the body of Christ hanging on both crucifix’s turned gold while the crosses remained silver! This is surly a sign from God that the priest who originally allowed the apparitions to take place in his parish is being rewarded for his faithfulness and insults he has received from so many people for his continued support. This is surely a indication of the authenticity of Our Lady of Emmitsburg. Mike said Fr. Al is overjoyed and he deserves it!
We then had the procession at 5 PM followed by mass. Afterwards I drove Raymond and Brother Paschal home. I then drove home and pulled in my drive way and the time on my Iphone that also displayed the picture of Our Lady of Fatima was 9:33.
